To try and shake off the negative thoughts regarding the future of the foal I had another look at the super stallion tonight. So I had to post some pics and facts about him. At http://www.bluehors.dk/ there is even a video. So if the offspring moves anything like him I suppose a touch of Downs can be tolerated after all...DON ROMANTIC

Don Romantic both in 2004 and 2005 proved that he has a great career in front of him as a breeding stallion. In Denmark, Sweden, Holland and Germany he had several champion foals. At the elite foal auction in Vechta foal by him was sold for 23.000 and 30.000 Euros. Don Romantic became the champion stallion in Herning 2002. He was the winner of the material test at Vilhelmsborg and got the high score 10 in canter and riding ability. In Herning 2003 he was champion again and received a gold medal as only the third stallion in the history of the Danish Warmblood association. At the Danish championships 2003 for young horses (DSA) Don Romantic was champion by the 4-year old.

Don Romantic is by Don Schufro and Romancier as grandsire. In the third generation is thoroughbred Mago xx. All these three stallions competed at the highest level in dressage. Out of Don Romantic’s dam-line comes Supermax Ravel.Don Romantic is approved in Denmark, Sweden, Oldenburg, Westfalen, Rheinland.
